What is a Groodle?
The Groodle is a cross between of a purebred Poodle and a purebred Golden Retriever.
Poodle – descriptions include Intelligent, loving, loyal, and mischievous are just four words that Poodle enthusiasts commonly use to describe the breed's personality. The Poodle is also known for what his fans call "an air of distinction": a dignified attitude that's hard to describe, but easy to spot in the dog
Golden Retrievers - they are the classic family companion. Obedient, playful, intelligent, well-mannered, great with kids, and kindly to strangers. They are good watchdogs, but not as a guard dog as they love people far too much to be effective. Golden Retrievers can be at the top of their obedience classes and are often the champions of sporting competitions, however this is definitely a breed that need people.
Groodles often carry both characteristics and are highly intelligent, gentle, very social dogs who love to be around people, they enjoy pleasing their humans but also letting it be known if they are feeling neglected. Many Groodles have light to non-shedding coats, which makes them ideal for anyone who may have allergies. I do not recommend any dog to be left in a yard with little to no interaction, they are by nature a pack animal and if you own any dog you are considered to be their pack and as such need they need to be an active daily participant in your life.
